„FREQUENCIES II“

VIDEO: 06:12 MINUTES,

2019

Videostills:

The video installation "Frequencies II" is an installation work, consisting of three videos, each of which is played in a loop on a screen.
Based on my first video work "Frequencies I", it is an enigmatic dialogue between three beings who appear simultaneously, interacting, and defending each other.
The video passes like a dream and without deciphering and starts all over again.

This work was shown at the Screening II of the International Short Film Festival Oberhausen.

"IHRE GEHEIMNISSE UND TRÄUME"

„HER SECRETS AND DREAMS“

VIDEO: 8.32 MINUTES

2019

Videostills:

The video work “Her Secrets and Dreams” is a work that was shown in the group exhibition “-188x (Balzac)” in May / June 2019 at the Uelzen Art Association. For the exhibition, we dealt with the novel "The Unknown Masterpiece" by Honoré de Balzac. I interpreted the sensual description of the master painter, who is obsessed with his masterpiece: an abstract depiction of an ideal woman. He lovingly describes the liveliness, perfection, and veracity of the woman, hidden among the many layers of paint, but clearly perceptible to him. Desire, beauty, leisure and subjectivity are the aspects that inspired me.

A videostill of this work was used for the exhibition's poster.
