An installation around the video "Tryin Export" bringing together objects of the series "Parts of something else", which are part of the video, a self-made seating furniture referring to the objects' shapes and a screen printed curtain forming an enclosing space.

The abstract screen printed overlapping shapes create gaps and windows in the semi-transparent curtain, which formally alludes to the theme of the video: a collage of excerpts and snippets that only allow a partial view from the outside.

The seating furniture makes reference to the wax objects "Parts of something else", which are modified wax casts of my body, which only becomes apparent on closer inspection. Half consciously, the viewers are literally sitting on a piece of me.
I put the viewer in my position: while watching a video that tells from my perspective, i make the viewer see through my perspective.
